How can that be? Imperfection and perfection?

We are imperfect people. We have flaws, faults and shortcomings.

But we serve a perfect God. And when you visit the Collierville church, you'll find imperfect people serving a perfect God.

You will find raw, organic, basic, pure Christianity. No commandments or teachings of men.

We want to serve and worship God. And we're doing it the best way that we know.

Our History

People in Collierville have been coming together as the Lord's church to worship since as early as 1868. In 1870, about 80 people were added to the Lord's body in an evangelistic meeting. By 1874, the great preacher, T.B. Larimore, was preaching for the congregation every week.

Then, our history disappears for nearly 100 years. It's believed that many in the area departed from the truth, and the church died out.

We are able to pick our history up again in 1956. A few families came together regularly to worship and the Collierville church of Christ was re-established.

The Collierville church as been a force in the Collierville community ever since then - a goal we continually strive to meet.
